This is a short, sweet and to the point blog on an easy homemade recipe, that can save you a little on the pocket and yet still be an effective SPF hair spritz...
- take an empty spray bottle
- pour in 1 cup of water
- add 1 tbsp of sunscreen (SPF 30 and above)
- shake it up and leave it to dissolve overnight
- some sunscreens leave a white powder-like residue, if that it the case, filter it & you're good to go
Some extra tips:
- if you use a leave-in conditioner daily you can add some sunscreen to that
- other ways to protect your hair from UV exposure: wearing a hat or a scarf, protective hairstyles
- apply and comb through conditioner before swimming
- find styling products with SPF
Good tips. Never heard this before. Thanks for sharing it.
