I was recently sent some skincare products to review - not just any skincare products but from Kiehl's South Africa - as part of their "Change Your Skin" challenge- I have been eyeing their skincare for the longest! Thank you to Beauty Bulletin for selecting me. After giving a brief on what my skincare goals are, these are the products I received:

Hydro Plumping Re-texturing Serum Concentrate
Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution
Midnight Recovery Concentrate

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know I'm an avid believer that prevention is better than cure - that what you give to your skin today is what it will give back in the not too distant future.

My skincare goals:
♧ maintain an even skin tone
♧ maintain brightness
♧ keep pigmentation at bay
♧ have well hydrated, supple skin
♧ anti-aging

My first impressions:
The products were packaged well, as expected from such a reputable brand! I especially love that the
serums came in an opaque pump bottle which is always reassuring that UV rays are not going to tamper with the ingredients integrity. What I also found rather different, was dropper bottles, I haven't personally used any other product that comes that way. I particularly liked that the dropper meant I would not contaminate the product as no "finger dipping" is involved and it's also meant an easy way to get the exact quantity I want to use each time.

The products have no scent - yay! Well, sort of.. The Midnight Recovery has the scent of lavender and evening primrose oil - so soothing and calming for night time use. The Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution and the Hydro Plumping Re-texturing Serum Concentrate have no scent and I love that as I'm not always up for rosey, woody, etc everyday especially early in the morning. I care more about what's in the product and what it can do for me. The consistency it light, easily absorbed into the skin and works without leaving any residue - which is great if you need to layer several products in your routine.

Some pictures, to track progress:
It is an challenge after all, here are some before pictures (horribly close eek!) And you can expect a weekly update so we can measure the progress together.

Have you used Kiehl's products before? What were your thoughts?
