The Soap/Beauty Bar…

It’s is predicted that we shall see more purchases for the soap bar this year. Why?

• Less plastic, more recycled paper, if any packaging at all
• Luxury brands are also formulating long-lasting bars with all-natural ingredients
• We are seeing not just body soap but  shampoo & conditioner bars, facial bars, etc
• Lower price point and it uses less water
• We’re seeing some actives and moisturising ingredients included eg. Glycolic acid, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, Coenzyme Q10, etc..
• A lot of consumers are looking for words like sustainable, eco-friendly, fair-trade, mission-driven type of brands

Assuming you know how to use and store your soap right (ie. without reasons for bacteria to thrive), will you be jumping on this bandwagon?
